Casa Ganoza Chopitea

It is also known as the “House of Lions”, and it is often considered as the most beautiful example of a colonial house in Trujillo. There are two lions roaring on its well-decorated rococo façade. Inside, the three patios carried by wooden construction and painted with important and flowered murals give a special attraction to this casona. This is today the Touristic Police headquarter and it sometimes houses arts exhibitions presenting famous, talented, and intriguing artists.
